Independence Day Pictures – After India’s Independence on 15th August 1945, when India became independent, the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, hoisted the tricolor on the ramparts of the Red Fort on that day, since then every year the Prime Minister hoisted the National flag on the Red Fort.
The flag is given a salute of 21 guns. M-colorful events are organized. After flagging the flag, the prime minister also gives speeches addressing all the citizens of the country. After the salute, the Prime Minister addresses people in the public about the year’s plans, programs and achievements etc.
India was liberated from the British rule on August 15, 1947. Since then, we are celebrating this day as independence-day every year. This is our national festival and we celebrate Indian flag with pride, dignity and self respect, by hoisting national flag in country and abroad.
In the courtyard of school, college, kachari, secretariat and other offices, celebrating the national flag on the Independence Day is celebrated and celebrating color and color events. This national festival is celebrated with great fanfare in the country and abroad also in the Indian Embassies and other offices.
